Italian Perl Workshop 2011 - Announcement

The Association Perl.it (Italian Perl users), of which I am a founding member, and the Italian mongers, in collaboration with the University of Turin, organized the sixth edition of the Italian Perl Workshop (IPW 2011).

This year it moves from the usual place of Pisa and in fact the conference (free) will be held in Turin on 8-9 September 2011. There will be presentations in Italian and English in some interventions.

The undersigned will be present both as an organizer and speaker with a talk titled "WWW:: BBB:: API, a web interface API BigBlueButton.

BigBlueButton is in fact a system of videoconferencing and e-learning platform based on Red5. The interaction with this platform, to manage the registration, cancellation and access to the conference can be made through the demo interface built into the system or through a more flexible environment that allows API to customize the access to this environment distance learning. WWW:: BBB:: API is a Perl module, made ​​just by myself, to interface to this set of APIs.

Ultimately, in this talk, we will explain briefly the BigBlueButton integrate the use, of course, the Perl module.

For those who have been attentive to this form, is nothing less than that used for the platform Micso Conference Center and the platform BigBlueButton is nothing more than the one used for my experiment in distance learning on radio communication in emergencies.
